Darwin at Home is an open source software project that aims to bring the process of evolution into your computer at home so that you can see it working. From the initial projects to evolve locomotion it is now moving towards a more generic framework for evolution in general.

The audio version of what is going on, which mostly involves me talking to my MP3 player about the code and ideas that are developing.

This is the journal of things that happen on the project. Often entries are just notes to accompany a podcast episode.

This is a google group where interested people can meet and discuss the project.

This is really what it's all about. The Darwin@Home programs are written on the Java platform and can be launched in your browser, so you can see what evolution looks like first-hand.
